Thos Clifton Jos Bland Wm Westbrook At a court held for the bounty of Southampton on Thursday the 11th Day of July 1754 This Inventory & apprisment was returned & by the Court Ordered to be Recorded Test R Kello Cl [In the left margin] Bridgman Joyners Will I Bridgman Joyner of Shampton County in Virginia being sick and weak of Body but in perfect sence and memory & Calling to mind the uncertainty of this Life of that it is appoin= =ded for all mankind Once to Die, do think proper to make Constitute & ordain this my Last will & Testament in manner & form followin Viz Item: I give and Bequeath to my son Jacob Joyner my Plantation & all my Lands lying in the fork of Nottoway Swamp Containing four hundred & Ninety acres Likewise one feather Bed & furniture & one Mare to him and his heirs forever ~~~ Item: I Give & Bequeath to my son Bridgman Joyner the Lands & Plantation where on he now Lives Containing one hundred & Sixty Two Acres more or Less Likewise one feather Bedz & furniture to him & his Heirs forever ~~~ Item: I Give & Bequeath to my son Jesse Joyner the Land and Plantation whereon I now Live Containin one hundred & sixty three three acres more or less likewise one feather Bed & furniture to him & his heirs forever ~~~ Item: I Give & bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Joyner one feather Bed & furniture to her and her Heirs for Ever ~~~ [In the left margin] 149 Item: I Give and bequeath to my Daughter Anne Joyner One feather Bed & furniture and one Large Trunk to her & her Heirs forever Item: I Give & bequeath to my Daughter Patience Bunn one feather Bed & furniture which I have & Already Possessed her with Like wise two shillings ^ six pence Cash !
